Note how you can clearly see this's ant's internal organs. Is the ant using her feeler to manipulate or examine the aphid? I suspect so. These aphids are on the end of the branch of a pine tree. You can see drops of tree sap, one directly in front of the aphid. |

Two ants exchange greetings or groom, and a ladybug larva goes about it's business. Negligant dairy farmers? Or is it a cattle ranch? Is that an aphid body in the mouth of the ant? |
Same aphids, same tree, different species of ant. I think that this one may be eating aphids. Is that legs below the mouth parts? Is it a cattle ranch rather than a dairy farm? I think that the other species is a night-time and early morning species, and the species above is a daytime species, but I don't remember. |
