Scott Ancient Green - Java Applet (C) 1997 Gregory J. Scott
The colors in this example are definitely wrong.
They should be less saturated, more "pale".
The are light enough, perhaps, but the colors are too intense.
I'll fix it someday if I feel like it.
To make the process easier, I'll import the bitmap into Photoshop,
use sliders to manipulate saturation and brightness,
and then record the values of the different colors in RGB values.
This will be easier than using trial and error to manipulate the RGB
color values to the right levels.
Except for the last step, this is how I produced the file
PaleScottGreen.jpg which serves as a background on all of these pages.
