A panoramic view of the painted desert portion of Petrified Forest National Park, south of Interstate 40 in Arizona. This scenic landscape was photographed as a stitched composite panorama. The park closes early. This photo was taken May 3, 2003 at 6:03pm, 3 minutes after the park is officially closed. So it's as close to a sunset shot as you can get at that time of the year. The original high resolution photograph has dimensions 2613 pixels tall by 39185 pixels wide, and has plenty of resolution for a print of up to 7.25" width by 108" length, or by custom email order, at 28" tall by 420" wide (See my email, below) The medium resolution image you are seeing here is only 900 pixels tall. It will easily print out as large as 7.25" by 108" inches in size. Printed as 5 panels, it can print at an overall total size of 28" tall by 420" wide. (See the next page.) |
